- Type your nickname and choose a frame if you want one.
- Watch the counter: Free Fire accepts up to 12 characters.
- Copy it and paste it when you change your name in the game.
Make it fit in 12 characters
Free Fire nicknames can be up to 12 characters long, and every symbol in a frame counts. Short frames such as 亗 or ꧁꧂ leave more room for your name than long decorations.
If the game refuses a character, swap the style: most bold, cursive and small capital letters are accepted.
Changing your name costs diamonds
A name change costs 390 diamonds, or a Name Change Card from events or the guild store. Check your nickname here first so you pay only once.
To leave a gap that the game does not remove, use the invisible character ㅤ (Hangul filler) from our invisible character page.

Why is my name too long?
Frames, spaces and some decorated letters all count as characters. Remove a space or choose a shorter frame.
Can I put a space in my Free Fire name?
Use the invisible character ㅤ instead of a normal space. It looks like a space and is usually accepted.
